01 connect with nature
There are so many studies that show that maintaining a connection to nature can be so beneficial to our mental well-being. Taking the chance to exercise outside, throwing yourself in the ocean (if you’re lucky enough to be within 10km of it!) and of course tending to your plants are all great ways to do it. Some other planty activities to try:
- Propagate your plants - then gift to friends and family!
- Sprout your own sweet potato in a botanical vase
- Repot your indoor plants (although spring is generally the best time to do this, we could all use a satisfying activity at the moment, so we’ll allow it a little early)
- Do a puzzle - check out our brand new offering!
02 eat (+ drink) your feelings
There are so many amazing small businesses who have pivoted to stay alive during COVID and that means fabulous opportunities to dine on delicious food and drinks in the safety + comfort of your own home.

03 move your body
And after all that indulging we’re getting our bodies moving with some at home exercise! FLUIDFORM pilates has an incredible online platform with heaps of great workouts and stretching sessions. Inner west favourite SCOUT pilates is also running online classes while their beautful studio is closed.
04 curl up with a good book
Pour yourself a cuppa, crawl into bed and dive into a good book!

For kids of all ages Ken Done has a number of education resources for some art inspired play. From colouring to critiquing, there’s an arty activity to keep small hands busy for hours!
