Golden cane palm

How to care for the golden cane palm

Named for its golden stems, that actually grow more green indoors, and sometimes referred to as the Butterfly palm, the Golden cane palm is the perfect tropical addition to your plant gang.
They like things on the steamy side so give their leaves a spritz of water every few days, and ensure the air around it is well ventilated. Keep soil relatively moist by watering once to twice a week. Check the top layer of soil with your finger to ensure the soil doesn’t dry out too much or on the flip side become too soggy.
LIGHT
Will thrive in bright indirect light.
WATER
Water once to twice a week to keep soil relatively moist but not soggy.
MAINTENANCE
Fertilise with a diluted liquid fertiliser every few months.
